News & Information

We Hello again everyone. We apologize for the long delay of photos between our last update (last summer) and this update. Things have either been busy or boring (well, not boring - but we haven't been doing a ton of photo-worthy events this year in China with Shannon working on her Masters during our week-long holidays which stops us from going on small trips around China). Anyway, our most recent photo galleries are up (finally) after our winter holiday to Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Thailand. Thailand and Malaysia were repeat destinations from last year, but they were great places to relax and enjoy time with our friends and the beautiful beaches while relaxing and ridding ourselves of the annoyances of our place of employment. We hope you enjoy the photos - there should be comments with each explaining what they are. For reference sake, Sri Lanka is the single nicest place we've been when considering the amount of things to do (we may go back again next year), the lack of tourists at all of our destinations, and most importantly the sincere warmth of the people there. We always had people waving and smiling at us everywhere we went, and people were genuinely happy to help you (and unlike Thailand and other places they weren't after something in return).

We are working on our plans for the summer. Shannon has her Masters from July 4 - 23, and since we are still looking for new jobs we are not sure how much time we will have outside of Kelowna or in Toronto. However, that information will be available soon I'm sure as we have to make some decisions fairly quickly!
